Can I hide cash on delivery for some shipping methods?

Yes. The COD availability rule hides the COD payment method unless the chosen shipping method matches your keywords, and hides other payment methods when a COD shipping method is chosen.

Does Shipdock add a COD fee in checkout?

No. Shipdock does not add a surcharge itself. The help center has a tutorial on charging a COD fee with a companion app.

What it does

Cash on delivery is still how a large share of Central and Eastern European shoppers pay. The admin cost usually lands on you: checking which parcels were paid and marking orders by hand. Shipdock removes that step for the couriers that report delivery back.

The amount and currency come from the Shopify order, and you can still adjust the COD value on a single order before the label is created.

Amount from the order

The COD amount and currency are taken from the Shopify order and sent to the courier with the shipment. Cash on delivery is not available for DHL Express, Orlen Paczka, Posti and DPD in Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Automatic mark-as-paid

For Packeta, PPL, DPD CZ, SK, HR and SI, GLS myGLS, BoxNow, Česká pošta and Balíkovna, the app checks the parcel with the courier and marks the order as paid once delivery is reported.
