Which label formats does Shipdock support?

A6, A7 and A8 labels and A4 sheets with several labels per page and a position offset. The choice depends on the courier: Packeta supports the widest range, most couriers issue A6 labels.

Can shipping labels be created automatically?

Yes. Automatic creation runs when an order is created or when it is fulfilled, and the tracking number is written back to Shopify.

What happens if a label cannot be created?

Shipdock validates the order first and shows a clear message: a missing pickup point, an unmapped shipping method, missing customs data or unsupported COD. A saved package size and a fallback weight prevent failures on orders without weight.

Can I print packing slips and a handover list?

Yes. Print packing slips from your own template in A6, A6 on A4 or A4, or interleaved with the labels in one PDF. One A4 landscape PDF listing the parcels of the selected orders, with room for the driver's signature. It can be split by courier.

What it does

Labels are the part of shipping that eats afternoons. In Shipdock the orders list carries everything the courier needs, so creating a batch is a selection and one button: shipments are created at the courier, tracking numbers come back onto the Shopify fulfillment and the labels arrive as a PDF.

If you would rather not touch it at all, label creation can fire automatically when an order is created or fulfilled.

Label print formats

A6, A7 and A8 labels, A6 on A4 (4 per sheet), A7 on A4 (8 per sheet) and 105×35 mm on A4 (16 per sheet), with a sheet offset so a partly used sheet is not wasted. Available formats depend on the courier; most couriers issue A6.

Automatic labels

Per courier and delivery type: the label is ready 60 seconds after checkout, or when the order is fulfilled. Orders with an excluded tag are skipped.

Tracking back to Shopify

The tracking number and courier tracking URL are written to the fulfillment, so Shopify sends the customer the tracking link.

Late tracking handled

PPL and InPost issue tracking numbers with a delay. A background worker fetches them and writes them to the order.

From the Shopify order list

Bulk actions in Shopify admin let you create, fulfill, print and export selected orders without opening the app, and override the courier per order.

Fix an order before it ships

Change the pickup point, the delivery method, dimensions and weight, address details, insurance or COD value for the shipment only. The Shopify order stays untouched.

Cancel and redo

Cancel a shipment from the app for PPL, DPD SK, GLS myGLS, Omniva and Econt, then create it again. For other couriers, cancel in the courier portal.
